Brunch:
Della Fattoria – Festive brunch spot and bakery in heart of downtown Petaluma with egg-cellent polenta and benedict dishes. May we also recommend their chai lattes served in a bowl?
Pearl – Brunch spot with Turkish cuisine and coffee located in trendy Rivertown neighborhood.
Tea Room Cafe – Charming neighborhood tea and brunch cafe with wide array of specialty teas and yummy dishes to start your day!
Lunch:
Stockhome – Approachable counter-serviced Michelin mentioned Scandinavian eatery known for their falafel and Swedish meatballs.
Lunchette – Need a quick fix for locally sourced salads and grain bowls? Hit up this quaint eatery for a balanced lunch.
Wild Goat Bistro – Charming eatery located right off the Petaluma trestle overlooking the river.
Acme Burger – Casual outdoor option for burgers, sandwiches and fried things. What’s not to love?
Brews and Bites:
Brewster’s Beer Garden – The big beer garden by the river with gastro fare, a large selection of brews, and regular live music.
The Block – The smaller beer garden by the river with fire pits, food trucks, and rotating entertainment.
Lagunitas – The famous one. Renowned for their IPA, but they brew all types and serve pub fare.
Henhouse Palace of Barrels – Not quite as famous, but just as good, and a more intimate experience.
Crooked Goat Brewing – Downtown watering hole where you can have Acme Burgers delivered from next door.
Dinner:
Chan Chao – Authentic Thai cuisine served to you in an old Victorian home. Do it.
Central Market – Elevated, charming and farm-to-table fresh ingredients with a pizza oven. Menu changes weekly, but the cuisine is consistently fantastic.
L’Oro Di Napoli – Trendy and new Italian eatery known for wood fired pizzas and a lively dining experience. We recommend the Barbera wine and pizza with cheese.
Sights:
Helen Putnam Regional Park – Rolling hills, oak trees, and hiking trails. Great view from the top!
Petaluma River Park – Take a stroll on Steamer Landing, with the Petaluma River on one side and the McNear Channel on the other.
Marin French Cheese Company – The country’s oldest cheese company, handcrafting soft-ripening cheeses since 1865. Enjoy a picnic on the scenic grounds.
Petaluma Historical Library and Museum – Tours, lectures, and exhibits. Always free! You might see their impeccably dressed tour guides around downtown.
Bodega Bay – One half-hour to the west. Look out for The Birds.
